Soon afterward, the route reaches Fodele, the birthplace of the famous painter El Greco (Dominikos Theotokopoulos). The village sits among orange groves and green hills. BIO Suites Hotel & Spa
Bio Suites Hotel & Spa is located in a quiet area near the beach, right in the heart of Rethymno. At the same time, it offers easy access to the Old Town, the promenade, and the vibrant city center.
The name “BIO” reflects the hotel’s unique history. Originally, one of the largest olive oil extraction factories in Rethymno operated on this very site between 1920 and 1940. For this reason, the area became known as “BIO,” a short form of the Greek term Biomichaniki Periochi, meaning Industrial Zone.
Today, the hotel proudly preserves this heritage. In fact, the original factory chimney, built in 1920, still stands at the center of the modern complex. Rising 45 meters high with a diameter of approximately 3 meters, it remains an impressive landmark. Moreover, the Greek Ministry of Culture has officially recognized it as a monument of Greece’s early industrial period.
To protect this important structure, the hotel carefully stabilized and reinforced it, preserving an authentic piece of Rethymno’s history while creating a contemporary hospitality experience around it.

Please note that the booked vehicle is based on the luggage information provided at the time of reservation or after contacting us. If significantly more luggage is brought than declared and it cannot fit safely in the vehicle, an additional vehicle may be required. In such cases, any extra cost for the additional vehicle would be the responsibility of the customer.
Yes. You may cancel or modify your transfer free of charge, provided that you notify us at least 24 hours before the first leg of your itinerary. In this case, the full amount will be refunded or your booking will be amended according to your new travel details.
If the cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the first leg, we can refund only the return transfer, provided that a round-trip booking was made. For changes (not cancellations) made within this 24-hour window, any modification must be requested at least 6 hours before the first leg of your itinerary.
In cases of force majeure or serious health issues, we will refund the full amount. We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and we always aim to handle such cases with fairness and understanding.
